The good news is that no bank cutting will take place below the first sluices coming from the stable end so the lower section will stay as it is.

LOST GLASSES THROOP

A day ticket angler who fished beat 2 below school bridge earlier this week lost a pair of prescription glasses in a grey case, if found please contact Phil Nixon 07876204546.

No fishing at Avon Tyrrell This weekend . The lake is closed from Friday 23rd August to Monday 26th August. Fishing will resume on Tuesday 27th .

Davis Tackle will be closed from Monday 2nd September – Wednesday 4th September. Day tickets for this period will only be available in advance from Davis Tackle.

For the shop closure days only, RDAA members do not need to pre-book a ticket and can fish when in possession of a valid membership card. Normal rules/procedures apply outside of these times.

As a reminder, the fishery is open 7.30 – 21.00 in September. Tight Lines!’
