We provide toilets at our lakes for your convenience, costing the club £21,728 last year alone. Unfortunately, facilities at White Lake and Half Pit are being severely abused. Anglers are leaving bags of excrement inside and around the units. Last week, the waste management truck could not empty the toilets because these bags would block their machinery. This is a recurring issue.
Immediate Consequences
Loss of Facilities: Our contractor has threatened to remove the toilets. No other company will supply or clean units for our sites.
Night Fishing Ban: If a toilet cannot be emptied again due to waste bags, night fishing will be suspended for one week on the affected lake. Further offences will trigger stricter penalties.
Life Bans: Any member caught leaving waste bags in or around toilets, or throwing them into the bushes, will receive an immediate lifetime club ban.
We sincerely apologise to the vast majority of our members who treat our lakes with respect. However, we must take this drastic stance to protect our facilities from being permanently removed.
Rockford peg 1 is closed from Sunday 26 April. 9am-Sunday 3 may.4pm and swim work is being carried out between peg 1 and peg 19.sorry for any inconvenience.Rdaa management.
Unfortunately we will not be able to access Parley lake again, see mail I have just received from the owners. We will look into the feasibility of removing the fish which they have agreed we can do.
"Dear Phil,
Thank you for your patience and understanding during the ongoing construction of Eco Sustainable Solutions’ anaerobic digestion facility at Chapel Lane.
As mentioned previously, the site falls within the COMAH regime due to the nature of the operation, including the continuous production and injection of significant volumes of gas. As you will appreciate, this creates a higher-risk environment and requires a greater level of site security than had previously been anticipated.
Unfortunately, this has been compounded by repeated security breaches over the past 12 months, several of which have required police involvement. In light of this, we have had no option but to strengthen security arrangements across the site.
As a result, we are now required to restrict access along Chapel Lane, including access to Whitemere Lake for members of the Ringwood and District Anglers Association."
Please be aware our members can fish Whitemoor without limits from October 1st until March 31st,
From April 1st until September 30th members can fish Whitemoor a maximum of 3 times without paying
each calendar month, outside this arrangement they will have to purchase a day ticket.
