AT THE ESTATES REQUEST BEAT 2 WILL BE CLOSED BETWEEN BOULDER WEIR AND BLACKWATER BRIDGE ON MONDAY 17TH OCTOBER. WE WILL POST ON HERE WHEN THE FISHERY IS RE-OPENED FOR ANGLERS. APOLOGIES FOR THE LATE NOTICE.

Regarding previous post Davis tackle are hoping to re-open in afternoon but not guaranteed.

Please be aware that on the 14th, 17th, 19th and 21st October Davis tackle will be open from 07-30 until 08-30 and then closed until 12-00

If Davis tackle is closed on dates below members can access fishery without obtaining ticket but must have their membership card with them.

Longham water works is now back open, but with limited access.

There is no access to the wier pool members must not go beyond the barriers for any reason.

IT HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION THAT MEMBERS ARE GOING BEYOND OUR BOUNDARY AT AVON CASTLE, THE BOUNDARY IS SHOWN IN THE MEMBERSHIP BOOK AS BEYOND THE BOTTOM BEND, THIS IS 100 YARDS ABOVE AVON CASTLE ON THE FAR BANK. A NEW NOTICE WILL BE PLACED THERE BUT IN THE MEANTIME STAY WITHIN OUR BOUNDARY.

Update 21/2/22 

The water worksat longham will remain closed due to bad weather and roof tiles comming off the building.

Please be aware Longham water works is closed due to bad weather and safety should be back open soon. 

Please note that Longham Reservoir will be closed from 8am to 3.30pm on Wednesday 9th of February for the car park to be resurfaced.

ADVANCED NOTICE OF CLOSURE

THROOP OPEN
Please be aware that the annual Throop Open match is being held on Beat 2 on Sunday, 13th February 2022, and stretch will be closed to members and day ticket anglers until 5pm.
Notices will also be placed around the fishery well in advance of the event.
Pegging will commence at first light.
The draw is @ 8.30am in the mill car park.
Fishing is from 10am to 3pm.
