Longham Reservoir

Longham
  • 25 acres containing carp, tench, bream, roach, rudd and pike
  • No fishing by the rails surrounding the pump house by the lodge
  • Parking is via the main Fishing Lodge at Longham Lake
  • Parking permit required
  • Toilet facilities available at the Fishing Lodge
  • No guest tickets
  • The maximum time allowed per booking for night fishing is 24 hours. After this, the position must be vacated, with the member not being allowed to return to night fish for 24 hours
  • No cereal groundbait. No nuts, cat or dog meat
  • No keepnets
  • Unhooking mat required
  • Dogs on leads allowed
  • Pike fishing allowed all year
  • Nets must be dipped before and after fishing
  • No coarse deadbaits for predator fishing
  • No zig rigs
  • No OMC twig rigs
  • Cars must be parked in Study Centre car park – not on Green Lane or Ringwood Road
  • Height barrier on site. Check for accessibility
  • Fishing times: 8.00am – for off times check clock on building
  • Night fishing is available by texting John Sudworth to book onto the lake: 07595 974571
  • Fishery closed on Christmas Day

Gates will be locked outside these times:

  • April: 7.30pm
    May: 8.30pm
    June: 10.00pm
    July: 9.30pm
    August: 8.30pm
    September: 7.30pm
    October: 6.30pm
    November: 5.30pm
    December, January and February: 4.00pm
    March: 6.30pm
Overhead powerlines can kill

Please take extreme care, it is recommended that you fish no closer than 20m from any overhead cables.
