Throop, Lower Stour Reports

Throop Report – Work on Throop continues, river weed has been cut on a regular basis, full report and photos can be seen on the forum.

We have a new rule that a landing net is required, this is written in our rule book and also on day tickets, the shops have been notified asking day ticket anglers to carry a landing net with them at all times when fishing.

Lower Stour – We have added new barbed wire to the entrance gate at blackwater to prevent non members gaining access.

General News – We will be preparing North End over the next 2 weeks in readiness for it opening on 1st September.

The locks at North End have now been replaced and the paths have been mowed, big thanks to Dave Treadwell, John and Kev Turner for their hard work.
