TOP TIP: Float fishing with hemp and tares can offer excellent Roach sport throughout the Summer and Autumn. Bread flake or Cheese paste for Chub. Particles, maggots and Casters are worthy baits for Barbel and Chub. Don't rule out artificial baits if small fish keep stripping the hook. Use pellets with care! It is very easy to over feed and pre-occupy the fish.
Please note: No bivvies. Limited parking is available at the golf course. Please park behind sheds, where indicated. Strictly adhere to the permitted parking areas. Anglers may stay no longer than 24 hrs in the same swim. ALWAYS use adequate and well balanced tackle when targeting or expecting Barbel. RDAA recommend no less than 6lb line with a suitably strong hook. Electricity pylons cross this water, please take caution.
OVERHEAD POWERLINES CAN KILL SO PLEASE TAKE EXTREME CARE IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU FISH NO CLOSER THAN 20M FROM ANY OVERHEAD CABLES
